The Earth Mother is shrouded within the healing tears of Father Sky.
His love for the beauty and function of the Mother enfolds all the beings...especially the beings here at Khula Dhamma :D
This past week the rain from above has been of assistance regarding the maintainance of our immediate garden. I reckon it wont be necessary to water the garden for a while...
It seems as if the majority of souls are longing for the rain to cease, but golly do I love the rain! To dance, sing, trek, garden, create art and crafts, drink tea (well any time is tea time, but especially during the moments of rain :) ), eat food (hee hee), read and just love the moment of this healing experience for Mother Earth. Humans seem to be immensely detached form the actual benefits of rain and why these lucid drops of water do indeed fall. Here's a thought; if it were not for the rain, do you believe our food sources would be as bountiful? Do you believe it would be possible for food to flourish? Be wholly grateful for the rain, celebrate the moment of its descent, for if it were not for those beautiful occurrences we as humans (in fact all beings or the majority of beings) would struggle to survive.
During this week of rain, much baking has been accomplished (indeed recipes shall be posted :) ); the turning of this house into a home has slowly been completed, although at present this house seems to be a construction site; the food forest has been planned as much as possible, tending to the areas that do not need dry soil to be played with and the daily tasks have been accomplished as well...hopefully.
A volunteer named Mark arrived during Monday, and he is a lovely soul, but it seems that conversing with the residents here (including Staceyj, Trav and I) have been a tad overwhelming for Mark as well as taking note of our lifestyles. There is much to be learnt, tested and practiced :) Now there are six beings (including Tigger) living within or near to the community house, excluding the residents. To me this is a huge adjustment as I am accustomed to only one or two extra beings within the my living surroundings...Hmmm, it is difficult to constantly be surrounded by souls (upon this dimension and realm, as we are constantly surrounded by beings of an ethereal nature upon all dimensions! :D ), but this shall be a lesson indeed, a lesson of patience, tolerance and acceptance within myself and of the other humans.
Interestingly enough both Mio and Mark believe they are "unable" to cook, and so have often been taking note of what either Stacey, brother Trav or I conjure, so it has been fun, answering their questions and sharing healthier alternatives to beings who are actually interested :)
Tigger on the other hand, does not seem to be too interested in the food alternatives I have been providing him, instead of pellets. I refuse to feed an animal being, something that I would never digest in a trillion-gazillion years! The processing of animal foods (especially pellets), the chemicals, additives, preservatives and all the other nonsense that is the equation of pellets should surely no longer be dubbed "food"? In fact anything of substance that is ingested by any being (especially humans), should only be named "food" if it consists of a natural nutritional value, enzymes, minerals of some form and is tolerated by the human anatomy! Sha-wow!
On another note :P I have been asked to lead the re-establishment of the food forest, which is beautiful news to me. Regarding the fact that Father Sky is still blessing us, only planning for the food forest, clearing areas and watching episodes about food forests have been possible thus far, but the ideas are flowing and this brain is about to explode with amount of information that is being absorbed and created upon a daily basis. I suppose that is why I have to spill all my thoughts within the pages of a book. Yes, only about a 100th of what occurs within this mind is being shared upon this blog. Haha. Stacey and I have come to a conclusion regarding the food forest though. We have decided that the area beneath an already formed trellis shall be an area for our herb garden containing various healing, cleansing and magical abilities :)
Oh! During this past weekend, Stacey and Trav ventured through to the Kei Mouth and during their absence, I acquainted myself with front garden, and what shall I spy upon? Our first ripe tomato spirit! :D I was simply far too elated to wait two more days until Stace and Trav arrived back for us to share it :/ Whilst I was capturing images of the delightful salad that had been sourced form our very own land, Ole and Zanele arrived (probably pondering upon my doings), to ask if I wished to join in on the one day Vipassana sitting they would be experiencing the following day (Sundays are quiet days :) ), as much as I felt the need to sit another Vipassana, I also felt the longing to bond with the house and surrounding area again.
Hmmm, so the battery power of both this pc and the house is immensely low.
I wish to upload photographs as soon as possible, but it seems patience is the lesson at present, as we all wait in anticipation for the signs of stronger warmth from Brother Sun.
I shall attempt to sneak in a recipe quickly :D
Eternal love to all
Blessings
