The Only Permanence is Change

The end of another month and in return we recieve another beginning. Indeed today has been evident actions and signs of change within the entire community. The actions of myself and others do indeed affect all the beings that surround us... :D Although it seems as if what I have just spilled is slightly pessimistic, do not be fooled :P These transformaions are of importance, as challening as they shall be, but I continue to remind myself tha these new challenges shall be immensly jolly and fun, immersed in growth, sunshine (although the Storm still prevails) and woofs!
Ok, so, yes I struggle to share information in a nutshell. What are these challenges, actions and all these words I have repeated too often? Where to begin...
As of tomorrow (or the next few days, depending on where this physical vessel shall be situated), I shall be "moving" to a new home :) I shall remain on the farm at Khula Dhamma, but I shll be situated into a different house, to live all on my lonesome, with a garden that shall be re-established by me and Gaia of course :) The house was built by previous volunteers or "members" of the community, but the house has been some what neglected durring the past few months and Mother Earth has surely been claiming back her space. During yesterdays community meeing I suggested that I move into the house which is kown as the "Austrian House", for numerous reasons, which I shall refrain from listing only because I shall be writing another novel if I do so. This is a rather major life event for me, because, I have not as of yet experienced living within my own confinement in solitude to do as I wish when my heart desires and communicate with other beings when I feel it is needed. I will have to attend to all my needs alone, collecting fire wood, eating whatever the land provides when I am nable to provide food because of lack of money (which I strive to d anyway), to construct, re-construct and just everything! :D. Hmmm, the thought of it this new life experience creates swirls and twirls within my solar plexus :D
I shall mention at least one of the many reasons I approached the community about occupying the "Austrian House", because that point then leads onto the next change :) An Alsatian cross Husky spirit has been adopted by me and he shall be sharing his life with me from tomorrow onwards as well. The calm being has been dubbed Thor by his previous owners (who were actually living at the community once upon a recent time). It shall be challening to create that "Alpha" status for myself and to train him whilst he is a juvenile, but it neds to be done for his sake and mine. He needs to understand love and wish to share that loving environment to him :) "The Adventures of Alexa and Thor!" Hahahaha! My apologies it was too tempting.

It seems that an adventure is underway, as Nikki sister and I  may create a journey through to Hogsback soon, to frolick, meditate, create and those lovely aspects of life. There has been a longing and a drawing towards Hogsback ever since arriving back at KD, so when Nikki suggested a galavant to Anne and Tims (residents of KD) house amidst Hogsback, my heart beamed and sent thanks to The Universe :)

Not many projects have been accomplished because of the persistent Storm that has been overing over the farm for the past two weeks or so. I wish to feel the soil between my fingers and toes whilst lanting trees and creating beds and planting seeds, alas the soil is too water clogged and the roots of the plants shall rot if planted into water saturated soil. Hmph. Father Sky I love and appreciate your tears, but I also long to continue with the Food Forest :/ I suppose moving into another house, re-establishing the garden and maintaining the structure shall be a poject of its own, especially since I wish for the garden beside the house to be a form of a communal garden, the plants welcoming all to harvest their produce :)
Another earth worm farm is to be created as soon as possible, utilising a plastic barrel that I found within the communal nursery, so thats another project, plus I realised I needed to re-evaluate my logic towards the creation of a food forest. I began the initiation of the food forest by removing the grass by its roots, but then realised that because there is no vegetation that is able to be planted immediately, I needed to harvest seeds and collect plant cuttings. That realisation left a small problem, that being bare soil, left to the elements without mulch or plants... Hmmm. This mind has created a soultion but tis one of the many priorities at present. I believe that once I am physically as well as mentally within my own space and home, I shall feel more focused and clear intruding and confusing thoughts. Anywho, cuttings and seeds have been sourced and planted into trays. Next in line for the food forest, is scattering nitrogen fixing sprouts or seeds as ground cover, preferably legumes such as cow pea (yes, I do giggle each time), then tree pans need to be cleared of grass within and without, pest deterring plants such as Nasturtium and Comfrey need to be planted within the pan and surrounding the tree (Comfrey on the outskirts); a square hole dug out and under story trees planted, such as pomegranate, orange trees, avocado trees; theeeeen the over story trees which shall provide th canopy need to be situated into the forest family, such as Keurboom and Yellow Wood; creeping plants such as legumes/ beans and granadillas shall be planted by the already existing trellis to create another canopy of shade and of course provide food. Until the trees have matured and the layers begin to be obvious, the garden/ food forest space is usable for other plants, such as a divine medicinal herbal labyrinth :D This is still in the proces of being designed and put to work though. Another slight problem is existant and that is regarding planting food within the food forest, specifically fod that is capable of being beautiful ground cover, suh as sweet potato, butternut, squash is all usually eaten by our friends the porcupines, because there is no barrier surrounding the food forest area, so truly not much food is capable of growing until some form of a fence is built. Hmmm, sharing is caring :) We utilise the animal spirits land, we should at least share what is then provided from the Earth Mother...in small amounts. Heehee. That reminds me! Peaches were harvested today, mulberries seem to be endless (thank you mulberry spirit), carrots as minute as they are some times often greet us, the tomatoes are ripening, spinach and lettuce are already flowering and seeding, the coriander has grown past a metre high aswell as the dill, onions and spring onions are flowering within the food forest secion, the banana circles are slowly but surely providing, I spotted a tree tomato today and Nikki sister shared to me that penny wort grows in abubdance upon this farm, as a "weed" as many dub plants that they believe exist without purpose (all plants have a purpose in case you were unaware, especially "weeds"). In fact weeds grow where they are needed, when certain nutrition or minerals are lacked within the soil or within the plant itself a so-called weed begins to sprout and accomodate the growth of the surrounding vegetation.

There is a story I wished to share, but this mind is beginning the process of a shut-down and rather hastily, so the wisdom shared during the story of my encounter with a Deva shall have to wait :)
Tomorrow is a town day, we are fetching Thor! :D Ayaaayayyaaya, Eagle dancing circles and feet rythmic bounces! :)

During the last post I did mention that I would share a recipe, but I have not yet done so, that to shall have to wait for another rain shrouded day... Please do view the Photo Gallery though, which contains a few photographs of my previous journey here at Khula Dhamma.

Sending love, the warmth of Brothah Sun and the healing tears of Father Sky to all beings :)

Blessings and metta <3
